CSI: Swogger house

Sometimes I find suspiciously "snitched"** goods around the house, and despite NEVER having watched a CSI show (its just not my thing--you know, I'm already paranoid enough already) I have learned to grab my camera to document then analyze the incriminating evidence. Okay, I have it narrowed down to two suspects; ages 6 and 4, both with curly hair, mischievious, hilarious, female, stinker-ish, and caucasion.

EXHIBIT A:

EXHIBIT B:
notice the child scissors and the unruly cut to the bag ABOVE the ziploc opening--rendering it's convenient reclosability useless!

EXHIBIT Q: Interesting . . . same pink scissors as shown in ex. B

EXHIBIT X:
Okay, now that's sweet--look what they left me. There are only 2 children that know I love 1/4 costco chocolate muffin, graham crackers and peaches!

EXHIBIT Z: Hmmmmmm. Apparantly this was the best (and most logical, and sanitary) spot to cut up the fruit for my plate of goodies.

*we often use the word "snitch" in our family to sneak something from someone; like, I snitched some of her M&M's

Sooooooooo Preciou----WAIT A MINUTE. . . . . . .

Is that what I think it is?

Yes. It. Is.
You gotta learn to take the good with the bad, I always say.

p.s. I apologize for the graphic nature of the photo--its life, its reality, its ugly, but its funny!

Quick Beauty Parlor Conversations

Eden's turn at the "beauty parlor" (A.k.a. kitchen table with nail polish and fingernail clippers)

Mom: (painting Eden's fingernails) So, what do you do?
Eden: If people don't know what to wear or what dress to choose, then I help them. That's what I do for work. Today is my day off.
Mom: So you came to get your nails done? What else are you doing on your day off?
Eden: just going out for burritos. goodbye.

Ruby's Turn

Ruby: Mom, can you say that to me too? say "what do you do"
Mom: So, what do you do?
Ruby: I work for Ham Matana (Curse that Hannah Montana! We don't even have cable and Ruby knows who she is!)
Mom: what do you do there?
Ruby: I make her bed, paint her nails with sparkeles, polish shoes, clip her hands (she probably meant fingernails), make her bagels.
I really like Aladdin. He's my husband.

New Year's Resolution to play with my kids more-- today=check!

It's not like it's THAT noticeable . . .

I mean, you can HARDLY even tell that he's wearing it.

Actually, now that I'm looking at it, I think I've seen that helmet somewhere before, yes, it's very familiar indeed . . .

Right.
That's where I've seen it.
TRON.

Tron

But Jay wears it so much better.

Hasta la Vista flat-backed head! You're no match for this baby!
